Bailey's B- day

Bailey turned 7 this week. She has been counting down since last March. She has been saving for her half of a nintendo ds for her b-day for the last six months but when it finally came and she (hopefully) understood that would be the ONLY thing she would get she decided that she would rather have a couple smaller gifts instead. Jake had to work so we had her special dinner and b-day cake before Jake left for work and opened presents.. then we had a slumber party (with just me and the kids) in the living room and played the wii and watched movies. The kids were so excited because I promised not to make them go to sleep they could stay up as late as they wanted. .... I lied. At 2am I made them turn off the tv and sleep. I couldnt belive they made it that long and they were back up at 5am when I was up with Zane. Let's just say we all have a birthday hang over and today everyone was a lot whiney and in tears but at least when I put them to sleep tonight they all were out by 7pm.

3 months old

Zane is now 3 months old. He is still doing so good. He is happy smiling baby now but I am just still so grateful that he is home with us. I moved him in to Josh's room and Josh was so excited but now he asks me to write him notes for teacher to explain why he is so tired. I have been sleeping better anyways. I am still nervous to take him very many places, he started to get a stuffy nose this week and I made Jake listen to his lungs to make sure they werent rumbly. I swear he is my fourth and I feel more parnoid then I did with my first. hopefully that will get better for both of our sakes.

Rapunzel, rapunzel............

I always wanted long beautiful hair... but my mom didn't know how to braid or do hair so she told me and I always had short short hair and remember getting bribed with popcicles and money to keep my hair cut short which worked till 5th grade. I always wanted for my girls to have long hair... I love Jenny's hair it is so pretty, and long almost too long now. I want to chop it off but i love it and so does she but I also ready for something different. I need opinions please besides her hair is way to long when she can do this.... she loves to show me how she can choke her self with her braids.

Sprung

We are home. 15 days we were waiting for Zane to get better and we are home. I can't tell you how good it is to sleep in my bed and be home with all my kids. Thank you so much for everyone who helped and for your thoughts and prayers. Zane is getting back to his normal self and he is been so happy. I have been trying to get a pic of his sweet smile and I got one tonight. WE are so grateful to be home.

Rehab

zane finally got off the vent today. so that made it a total of 10 days that he had to be on the breathing tube. I was starting to think it was never was going to happen. he is doing relly good and is now in officl recovery mode... which includes having to deal with withdrawl from all the drugs he has been on for the last 10 days so today we found out that he needs to be in the hospital for another 5 days so they can wean him down off the drugs with more drugs. So even if they let us go homee on the 5th day that will make a complete two weeks we hve been in the hospital with him.
