Training Wheels

Bailey and Jenny can now ride their bikes without training wheels.. Bailey is almost 9 and Jenny 6 ...yep, it's about time. Pat on the back for Jake and I as negectful parents that hardly ever ride bikes with their kids. Hopefully that will change since everyone can now go the same speed! Today I am excited that my kids are getting bigger and we can do something all together as a family until Zane grows outta the baby carrier anyways.
or when Jake and Zane run away to the circus... (this is not the baby carrier)
Zane throwing a fit and threw himself backwards when Josh wanted his bike back... after they got off the bike thankfully.
The kids rode till dark

This gives me such hope. Julia is 7 and is the only one her age that she knows that still doesn't know how to ride a bike. Oy. Entirely my fault--we just don't get out much. This year was still a trainer year, and she's starting to get teased by her friends when they find out. NExt year FOR SURE, or I'll never win that mother-of-the-year award. :o) Congratulations to your kiddos! And you!!

I blame it on the gravel. All of our kids have learned between six and seven. Too tippy trying to learn with all the rocks and pot holes. I love the the picture of the kids at dark and the Zane-fit. Good times.
